We’ve been working on accessibility-related initiatives recently, and today I came up with an idea of how we could acknowledge participants’ contributions. We typically use Badgr as a digital badging platform to acknowledge our service participants, so I came up with this badge.
As I noted in the criteria section on the badge, “In claiming this accessibility advocate badge, recipients demonstrate their interest in fostering more equitable and inclusive educational experiences for all learners. This digital badge is a symbol that the recipient is choosing to be an accessibility advocate seeking out tools and strategies as part of a professional development effort to gain experience for good!”
