The Changing Landscape of Online Education (CHLOE): Behind the Numbers was released on March 29th. The report by Quality Matters and Eduventures identifies institutional approaches to online learning. It will take me some to make my way through this report, but here is an infographic highlighting the contents. One area that jumps out is the coverage of online versus on the ground student performance.
As shown in this snippet from the infographic, the findings from the report seem to conflict the “no significant difference” findings across the vast body of online to face-to-face comparison studies. This is one place I’ll have to drill down into the methodology to understand.
