Over the past few weeks, I’ve seen a couple of initiatives to round up interview questions that instructional designers are likely to face on the job hunt. There has been quite a bit of excitement around these projects, so I thought I’d take a second to highlight them here:
- Lizzie Crowston posted a link to a Google Doc she created of interview questions she has complied. She asks, “How would you respond to them? Are there any other questions you think should be on the list? Please answer what you feel comfortable (not necessary to do all 29 if you do not want to.)”
- Enilda Romero-Hall compiled a similar list of interview questions. She crowdedsourced the questions by polling both social media and her graduate students in the University of Tampa Instructional Design and Technology program where they used the question bank in a mock interview during their seminar courses.
Good stuff! Thank you for taking the lead on this, ladies!
