In my course this term, students have the option to write a case study for one of their course assignments. In digging for writing/assessment guidance, I came across the Journal of Cases in Educational Leadership. Since Ed Leadership is outside my area of expertise, I’ve never seen this peer-reviewed (and yes … behind a walled garden) journal. However, when I have time to dig into it a bit more, I’m wondering if it might be an option for students to submit their cases (related to educational technology’s impact on learning and learning organizations) at the end of the semester. When I was a student, I would have loved a class assignment that led to journal submission. Does anyone have experience with this journal?
