I've been reading some blogs lately from those who mock and bash the exuberance of teachers who are trying new things with connective technologies. Many question how we can afford the distraction when we fall short in getting kids to read and write. My response is that technology should not be thought of as a distraction, but rather as another means to an end. To your point, it is giving kids the best education possible - and one that looks a lot more like the world they will engage in as adults. Jennifer Maddrell
